I also played with a similar addon, VuhDo, and came to the conclusion that which you would use would simply be a matter of personal preference. Relating to color transformation, I know 
Der wird mir aber nur angezeigt, wenn ich alle und nicht nur entfernbare anzeigen lassen. VuhDo is primarily directed to healing classes but will make use to almost any other class. This means if a Custom Buff/Debuff is not working, try resetting it. The only reason im using Healbot over Grid 2 is that on Grid2 you can't do a option to color the whole bar for centair debuff for example. Examine Debuffs section in NamePlates-Enemy NPC Structures too. To set a custom debuff, select Custom and enter in the name or spell ID (found on WoWhead) of the debuff to monitor.
This custom bouquet looks like this: And the VuhDo frame with all this stuff enabled like this: As you can see, there's still place for other players' HoTs and fight debuffs (right-top). custom page type it in and on the right side below the name select stacks. These frames can be made to show buffs and debuffs. Vuhdo can do a little more than the 3 of those. 
Custom debuffs in Grid, tracking as a center icon Pros: This method doesn’t rely on any Grid plugins, so if you don’t use or have the latest raid debuff plug in for Grid, you can set up like this. You can setup Vuhdo to track just about anything, but it appears as dots on the profile with different colors. Minor: most debuffs fall into this category.
